About the product

EA888 Gen3 engines have a silencer (turbo muffler) at the turbo compressor outlet designed to suppress turbo noise. The Forge Turbo Muffler Delete is fitted in its place and removes the internal obstructions in the air path.

Its most noticeable effect is on sound: the turbo spool and diverter valve sounds come through more clearly. The part sits in the intake/boost system and has nothing to do with the exhaust or emissions system. It's often chosen together with the Forge Intercooler and silicone boost hoses.
